Do you think the Yankees will ever get back to their winning ways just like the late 90s?
Their entire roster was literally unbeatable whether you were facing a starting batter or bench player. It didn't matter. They were able to keep themselves in first place even if they lost 10 straight games. Even when they lost, it was mostly close games and they rarely got blown out. They even had 3 no-hitters. Doc Gooden in 1996, David Wells in 1998 (perfect game), and David Cone in 1999 (perfect game).
Well I'll admit to being a red sox fan but that doesn't mean I can't analyze this question at all. First I don't think the Yankees will be back to normal until they develop some sort of team chemistry and start building their farm system up. They need something new but I am not sure what it is but maybe their new coach is not doing anything for them. Maybe they should reinvest in a new coach. Just my thoughts feel free to flame me.
