Elevator Near
![]() why is it only in the lobby where you can find out where the elevators are? In a typical building, the elevator doors have an indicator beside it telling you where the elevator is. This isn't seen on other floors. Why not? I don't want to be left guessing where the nearest elevator is when I'm upstairs! It's an arbitrary cost cutting decision made by the building owner and the elevator designers or installers. Obviously they could be put on every floor if the building owner wanted to pay for the extra expense. And in some cases they did, and the indicators are indeed on every floor. . |
