Molt Mouth

My turantula hads 10 legs is this normal?
Species: Chilean Redhair Tarantula
Name: Peanut (Owner has one year with pet)
Finished molting: Last week
Note: I noticed two new appendages in the front where the mouth is located. They look like legs. My question is: Is that normal?
nope there not fangs
Tarantulas, like all spiders, have eight legs. Some species might look like they have ten - the additional two legs being a pair of shorter limbs located right at the front. These extra "legs" are actually pedipalps, which are sort of like arms. A tarantula uses its pedipalps for manipulating prey, amongst other things.
thanks everyone for ur help
i dont think thats 2 legs...where the mouth is located... it think datz his fangs to kill his prey....does he walk with them.. to see if there fangs .. get a stick and put it between the 2 legs or w/e...and if he grabs it.. then its his fangs,,, if not.. den i guess he was born deformed.. or something
