What type of chromium is in dental stainless steel? III or VI?

I have read chromium III is okay and in foods and chromium VI is toxic. What type would be in a dental crown?

I am pretty sure it is chromium 0, i.e. as an nonionized metal so it would be inert and nontoxic. I would not want any toxic stuff in my mouth.
